Default Character Stylist Suggestion.

Sorry if this has been suggested btw!

Ok,when you read the description of the makeover, it says you can customize your character in ways that aren't possible in the creation screen, but so far that only applies to core professions, so assassins/dervish/paragons/ritualists are left out with only options from their own campaign, which i find sad, since i was expecting to customize my non core chars.

My suggestion is : To make every character, be it core/non core, to choose from every profession hair/face. So a dervish could choose necro hair or a warrior could choose ritualist hair etc...
This would add alot more customization and prevent from discriminating other professions in my opinion.

so what you guys think? i know that it might be a little wierd to see a monk with a poked out eye..but well at least add more options to non-core characters since they are always left out.

would lead to a lot more options in appearance, which would be nice.
but i don't think this has any chance of happening

I have more support for this idea then I do with what's currently being used.

I'm not sure they would be compatible. Take your example of a warrior having a ritualists hair. A warrior's head is shaped quite a bit differently than a ritualist and would probably lead to a lot of clipping issues. Now spread that out across all the professions with all the different styles of face and hair that would have to be worked out. I'm all for as much customization as we can possible scrounge out of the game, I'm just not sure what you're suggesting is possible without completely reworking everything.

The main problem I see with this is the fact that the armors were designed with certain skins in mind. Then again, if it's just faces and not the rest of the body, I don't see how it could hurt. Probably way more developing than they are willing to deal with, IMO.

Please let me give my Ele an eyepatch?

Didn't realise there was such a limitation, I was never going to use the service anyway but it should have allowed any combination.

Given a free style option its ok to have limitations but when you charge cold hard cash there should be none.

Any class from any campaign should have been allowed to use any face hair etc.
Trouble is any fix applied in the future will need to allow free changes for all those who used it in the past and I don't see that happening.

More transparency please Anet tell us clearly what we are getting and more importantly not getting before we pay out.

There are some cross-profession hairstyles.

My paragon and my mesmer share a hairstyle that my elementalist could have too.
I don't know if that happen with faces too.

true i didn't think about that argh!!
still its a shame the non-core got left out with nothing more than original stuff. Problem is that, if they add new things to non-core..then the core ones will be left out.
